The Swan at Coombe Hill is one of the few remaining independent country pubs in the area. Conveniently situated between Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury on the A38, it has fantastic views overlooking Cleeve Hill.

The Swan offers fresh, seasonal and local produce, traditional and contemporary dishes using the best British ingredients in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All our dishes are homemade and cooked to order. Our menu changes every three months to reflect seasonal dishes and our chef’s imaginations.

For many, Sundays just wouldn’t be the same without a roast dinner, so here at The Swan we want to keep with tradition. We offer mouth watering Sunday roasts, beautifully prepared by our chefs and served with all the traditional trimmings. There’s something for everyone and of course we serve food all day Sunday and bank holidays.

As a free house we are able to select the finest real ales from Cotswold breweries including Goffs in Winchcombe, Battledown in Cheltenham and Donningtons in Stow on the Wold.

We have a large beer garden and decked terraced area. We pride ourselves on being a family friendly restaurant with a separate children’s menu. Alternatively, if your child would like to eat from our main menu, we are happy to adapt most of our a la carte dishes.

We have approximately five acres of land, three of which are planted with vines. These are now being given a new lease of life and we aim to produce our own house wine in the future. We are cultivating parts of the land in partnership with Vision 21 and we use as much ‘home grown’ produce as we can.
